In attendance were Lt. Gov. James "Duke" Aiona, other politicians, dignitaries, as well as several relatives of Duke Kahanamoku, including his grand-niece, Ms. Jo-Ann Kahanamoku-Sterling from Kailua-Kona on the island of Hawaii.
