Stand Up Paddle Yoga Health Benefits

Similar to regular yoga, Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga incorporates breath work, sun salutations, back bending, and even inversions if you're up to the challenge. It's a total body workout in which you unconsciously engage even more of your core in order to stabilize the board and stay in balance.

Poses on a SUP provide a bit more challenge to your quadriceps, shoulders, arms, and knees and and your core. It helps develop your balance and increases your focus and breath control while balancing on a SUP.

You also develop a deeper level of mindfulness while doing SUP Yoga as the water is calming and stress relieving, allowing you to soothe your mind, relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the landscape you are working out in.
